Many garages will give a free retest within two weeks and also allow you to have the repairs done elsewhere without having to pay for a retest. Find the right place and you're paying £35 for a test, it might pass with flying colours, it might fail on a few quids' worth of repairs or it might end up not worth the hassles, in which case you've only lost £35 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
