Maybe you were holding the map upside down. That wouldn't surprise me either ! So Spain is a part of Gibraltar then. I suppose Argentina is part of the Falklands by the same token. Because it's just a few miles away. Spain like Argentina gave up their rights to gibraltar and The Falkland islands in accordance to international law. The time frame for them to object has long since passed. Both countries are suffering economic problems, so its no coincidence they are trying to turn their populations attention away from their incompetent governments by encouraging friction with the UK. Tommo68 Posted August 13, 2013 Share Posted August 13, 2013 Someone suggested in the pub the other night (yes people do still talk in some pubs) that we should declare war on the USA and surrender straight away, Then watch what happens when the Spanish or pseudo Spanish (the Argies) mess with Amercan owned Islands. He might even have a pont as our Governments have successively pulled out our militarys teeth and in turn become gutless when it comes to foreign policy.
