Given in the recent warm weather clothes took ten minutes or so to dry and places like yemen are like that all the time the odds of any terrorist making it from their lair to their target before it goes boom seem pretty slim. Suppose it depends how unstable the explosive on the dried clothes is - I suppose it still needs a detonator. It sounds like an updated version of gun cotton. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nitrocellulose If I was a conspiracy theorist I would say that this is "the authorities" softening us up for false flag attacks

geared
Could just be doing the groundwork to step up drone operations in that area? They did say they were going to shutdown the flights over Pakistan - so they've got a bunch of drones sitting around doing nowt.
hellfleet
It sounds a bit unlikely but not impossible. Whatever it is is unlikely to just detonate when it gets dry, it will need friction, shock, heat, electric or something.
alchresearch
See the TV show Brainiac, they featured a paste or paint that exploded when dry. http://forum.weebls-stuff.com/showthread.php?t=50076
Clown Shoes
Does that mean that we all have to take our clothes off at airport security and be given white forensic style paper suits to wear on planes now? http://systemhygiene.co.uk/images/pictures/products/wor008-50g-paper-boilersuit-%28page-picture-large%29.jpg

Alcoblog
Should be pretty easy to detect at airport security. Just bolt a Dyson Airblade onto the side of the x-ray machines.
