Alfer
Can a Breville kettle whose element has gone be fixed ?
Mecky
It depends on the casing that houses the element but you probably can because that's how stuff in constructed in the factory. You'd have to get the part and do it though, which to me is just too much trouble, expensive and time-consuming. If you took it into a repair shop, you'd probably be told to buy a new one

iansheff
Would not have thought it is worth repairing, the cost will probably be as much as a new one with parts and labour.
Alfer
Thank you - that's pretty much what I thought but I like to reduse reuse and recyle wherever possible.
iansheff
You could always strip it down and recycle the parts in the appropriate containers.
