Electerrific
Has anyone ever used Japanese ebay to sell anything? I have certain Artwork which I was told by a film assistant producer that Japanese people would buy. Is it a simple case of finding a translator site and copy/pasting into it? I did hear about a Yahoo/ebay intermediary service which 'brokers' a sale(?), but perhaps that is simply for buyers only?
Janus
Electerrific, Interesting question for anyone interested in expanding their interest in ebaying. I used to search around looking on the other countries that eBay caters for. As you highlight, the main issue is the language. Microsoft provide some translation downloads/software. There also seems to be quite a bit of kit out there now to do the translation. Have at look at these. http://transdict.com/download/index.html http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/translator/ This one seems to be a free download http://translation.babylon.com/english/to-japanese/Adci%20ms/ There seems to be quite a lot of stuff in Google results. anywebsite
Translation software usually just outputs gibberish. Pay a Japanese translator, one with Japanese as their first language, if it'll fetch a high enough price.

Thanks, will try! Translation software usually just outputs gibberish. Pay a Japanese translator, one with Japanese as their first language, if it'll fetch a high enough price. Thanks, but surely not any worse than the Chinese/Japanese translated instructions we get with some items? :hihi::hihi::hihi:

We're talking about the advert here. If you want it to fetch the best price then you should have the best advert you can & the best way to do it would be to find a Japanese person who can translate from English.
