melthebell
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-northern-ireland-23656197 Today theres a parade taking place in County Tyrone called the Volunteers day parade, commemorating dead IRA members obviously the loyalists arent happy about it and the powers that be asked for it to be cancelled it got me thinking tho, do they have laws against terrorism in ireland now?, or certain groups / activities could be banned like we do with islamic extremist groups couldnt the authorities just ban the parade? obviously either way they go theres gonna be protests and riots lol
anywebsite
Sinn Fein are a big part of the authorities in Northern Ireland.
tinfoilhat
I've normally very little time for the IRA but considering the racket the loyalists make when they don't get their way they should have their march, however stupid it is. What's good for the goose is good for the gander.
anywebsite
It is pretty offensive to have a parade commemorating a couple of IRA men who were killed by their own bomb. Not as offensive as a loyalist riot, but still.

Not as offensive as a loyalist riot, but still. Of course it's offensive to loyalists. But in the eyes of the other side these men are heroes like mick Collins. Earlier in the year it was the loyalists turn to annoy the Catholics. And it will happen again next year and year after that etc etc. Northern Ireland needs a marching committee FFS. Says it all. I still hope it'll calm down eventually. Parades commemorating dead terrorists can't help. At least they aren't blowing each other up & shooting each other as often as they used to. Electerrific
Disgusting commemorating dead terrorists. What about dead women and children? And those hypocritical "Loyalist" extremists as bad as any BNP/EDL extremists here frothing at the mouth. All vile and risible.
taxman
Other countries must shake their heads in amazement. "Apprentice Boys" dressed in bowler hats and carrying umbrellas, marches commemorating terrorists so stupid they blew themselves up. After all the progress in recent years "marching season" comes around and large numbers of people act like gits.
