stuffedowl
Auto trader doesn't tell me common faults or if a car ir reliable that's why I have posted on here because there are people out there who have experiance of second hand cars ie mechanics and most importantly car owners
Blade73
Off the top of my head I'd say an Astra would be good for you. Good luck with the posts that'll say what do you expect for buying a car for less than 2k.
carosio
I have a Ford Ka 2005 so unfortunately won't meet your spec, but it's only done 13,900m.
stuffedowl
thanks Blade73 i know what you mean about comments so just before they start i am in a family as the only earner in private accommodation which is costing me around £550 pcm as i cannot get a house from the council so people like me havent got 6k plus to spend on a car and before someone asks why i have to work on a low income is i am unable to continue in skilled work(im a qualified joiner) due to health reasons. Thanks to carosio for the offer but the Ka is too small for me also im not looking to buy till at least the end of the month.

stuffedowl
Buy private. This type of comment doesn't really help as it doesn't contribute to what a reliable car is!

Ghostrider
Corsa 1.2 energy. 42,000 miles, 10 months test, taxed till November. 2 owners from new (the first was my ex mother in law) Full service history. Fits your criteria, not sure if the boot would be big enough for you though.. £1600.
