Free Ultimate Frisbee Coaching Sessions

We are running four free hour long coaching sessions in Ultimate Frisbee at Hillsborough Arena on the weekend of 7th/8th September. The sessions will be run by the local club, Sheffield Steal, and all coaches are Level 1 qualified with UK Ultimate.

 

The sessions will cover the basic skills, including throwing, marking and movement, as well as some actual game time - as much as we can squeeze in to an hour! These will be held on the all-weather pitch at the Arena.

 

No experience is necessary and people of all ages are welcome. We have enough coaches available to split the group into different age groups if we need to. You are welcome to attend as many sessions as you wish.

 

The sessions will be held at the following times:

Saturday 7th September

10.15am-11.15am

2.00pm-3.00pm

Sunday 8th September

11.30am-12.30pm

2.00pm-3.00pm

 

The sessions are being run alongside the Sheffield Hat Charity Ultimate Frisbee Tournament which is taking place at the venue over the whole weekend. The event is raising money for the sporting charity Access Sport, and you'll be able to watch some excellent Frisbee being played on the grass pitches over both days. The final of the tournament is due to start at 3.35pm on the Sunday.
