Minister for Bins wants new build regulations

Recommended Posts

Eric Pickles want new housing developers to ensure there is adequate space to house wheelie bins.

New planning guidance is being published next week.

Phew! Thank God this Government is tackling the big issues head on.

Yes those guys who built council houses in the 1960s and 1970s without garages or driveways did a cracking job. It's stupid planning for the obvious. Why would you want a house to have a car parking space or a place to put the bins when you can park on the pavements in between the bins, providing no one wants to push a pram along it.

But he's obsessed. He doesn't give a frig about libraries or respite care or community care or old folks homes but give him a bin story and he's all over the press like a great big idiot on the look out for favourable comments from Jeremy Clarkson.

I could link to a hundred comments from him about bins, how many has he made about food banks or library closures?

I see you are back pedaling already as the bin provision is actually a sensible idea. What a pity no one thought of it before. If they had we'd be able to use pavements to walk along.
