Teetime
Hi, I'm interested in starting up some kind of outdoor sport like waterskiing, waterboarding... something a bit 'different'. I found Sheffield Cable Waterski's website but their phone never was answered and I didn't get an email reply, so I'm assuming they've shut down or something. Anyone know of any clubs or places I can go? Thanks
sidewinder
Is that the one at Rother Valley? I think its seasonal and shut at the moment until the warmer weather.
Teetime
Aah, that might be it then. It didn't mention anything on the website though Well any other suggestions for slightly 'different' sports or activities?
britstu
Yes from what I remember they start in late March/ early April depending on the weather. You could always try Kiteboarding and power kiting. Normally there's a few over at Lodgemore behind the Sportsman Pub on a Sunday afternoon. Weather permitting of course. I know I'll be getting my kite & board out again soon.
Teetime
Could you give me a bit more info on Kiteboarding and power kiting? Is there anyone I can contact about times and things needed to take part, or a website or something? Thanks
