PRESLEY
I wouldn't mind paying for a tv license to any other channel but the BBC are just snobby Royalist who shove that lot down your throat. even tho I don't like adverts but if the Beeb were to have them like every other channel we wouldn't have to pay for a flippin License, then again no chance of that the crappy goverment are behind all this getting their cut. cgksheff
Aw Thanks Cressy, I have been Keeping an eye on here from time to time:thumbsup: ---------- Post added 17-08-2013 at 15:30 ---------- Firstly, I didn't check things out because when I'm told I'm buying something 'ANNUALLY' that USED to mean twelve months when I was at school. Maybe it's changed since it went metric ? I don't think I blamed the world did I ? And as for you saying 'WE ' have another moaner, I don't think you can speak for everyone else, it's not your party you know. What ? were you waiting in the wings for me , like some kind of demented forum wasp ? Touched a nerve there. Have we? Buzz Buzz!
gecko12
That is not fair, the BBC may have its flaws but your views are way off pulse. ---------- Post added 27-10-2013 at 12:15 ---------- Sky is who you should worry about, on sport the monopolies commission should take a long look. melthebell
there was some chatter on the bbc site about the tv license http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-24690002 the bbc may lose some of it or get it shared between broadcasters if they dont buck their ideas up
Mr Bloom
I agree with the OP. A tv license should run for the full 12 months, any less and it should be a legal matter. It stinks. I'm sick of paying for the offensive salaries of talentless self-obsessed Clarkson and his ilk. The BBC needs to stop insulting the majority of license payers and seriously buck its ideas up. NorthernStar
It's high time the BBC stood on it's own two feet, quite frankly there's no good reason for the TV tax in this day and age.

Couldn't disagree more, in an age where private interests own and shape the news we see, the BBC is more relevant today than it's ever been. The best value from any tax I've ever paid, long may it continue.

The best value from any tax I've ever paid, long may it continue. The BBC is manipulated by interests too and I for one could live my life quite happily without it and largely do, I resent paying for something I don't particularly care for, or want. Surely if you want to pay for it then there are many ways for the BBC to charge you or gain it's revenue through advertising like other channels do. Shogun
Do you also take what you want from shops without paying? Or mug old ladies? What a stupid comment, so someone that doesn't want to pay for a TV licencee is going to mug old people and be a shop lifter...
