I thought it was going to be a six year old or something. As on Mumsnet though, they think everything is a abuse. Including taking your children sailing and men eating sandwiches without asking their wives permission. and peppa pig is causing children to be violent.... Feeding a child such that their health is affected, for example by feeding them too much "unhealthy" food so that they become obese could quite easily be seen as abuse. Not feeding a child would also affect their health and could also be seen as abuse. El Cid's post talked about feeding children so that their health is affected and asked if it was abuse. It didn't specify whether the effect on their health was good or bad. If he'd said affected negatively then you have a point. But the effect on their health may have been to make them mens sana in corpore sano. In which case it wouldn't have been child abuse.
