airider
Hi, can anyone recommend a family friendly pub for a nice meal in town centre?
jemson
What ages of family? We ate at Benjamin Huntsman (spoons) recently and it was fine. Kids enjoy food there. Previously, we have eaten at Old House and Forum, where the food is really good. Family friendly pretty much, at lunch-time/early tea. Also surprised pleasantly by eating in the beer garden at Rutland. Tolerant of kids, great food but so so for little ones.

alternageek
Browns in the Peace Gardens is good for kids. VERY child friendly, kids menu as well. Theres also Pizza Express, just beside the Winter Gardens. Zizzi in Leopold Square we found was excellent and well priced. If looking for basic budget grub, the Museum is also pretty decent. But it be the same food you'd get a Wetherspoons or similar. Beehive is cheap and cheerful as well.
