Jane123
My 12 year old Corsa has finally given up the ghost. The cam belt has gone and we have decided to cut our losses as the cost of repair is too high. My question is - my car was collected in a pick up and is now at a garage in Sheffield. What do I do now, surely its worth something?

Jane123
Its a shame to scrap it - its been a great car
Isabelle
Could you break it and sell it for parts on ebay or suchlike? You might get more for the component parts than for scrapping it, and scrapyards will only do the same.

Drive to Flamborough Head, and then push it off a cliff You'll get a few hits on You Tube Just make sure nobody is sunbathing below
geared
Not everyone wants to strip a car for parts, or has the knowledge or space to do it. It'll take months to shift all the crap, afterall who's gunna want to buy a 12 year old lower arm for a corsa, or a coil spring, or a shock absorber, or second hand brakes?? Parts for the car are so cheap you'd have to practically give them away to get rid.
