slimsid2000
I'd be interested to read people's opinions and memories of the new defunct Roxy's Nightclub in Sheffield; especially in the late 80s and early to mid 90s.

si@guisborough
When did Roxy`s close? I used to go in the early `90s after working at the Hen and Chickens on a Saturday night, with some of the staff, one of whom I married!
Killian
wasn't it known as Barry Noble's Roxy? went there a lot in the 70's when it was the Top Rank. Had two levels and lots of fancy lighting. pretty flash compared with some of the other 70's clubs.

slimsid2000
I thought Barry Noble really did die, which was not exactly alright for him!

I've been told that he had an official death quite a few years before his real death in the late 90's. Something to do with tax I believe.
Chris_Sleeps
I used to go in Roxy's aged about 16/17, and no lie, they did let anyone in. Looking back i don't know how we did it, it was so obvious we were underage. About 1998/99 was my peak time for crappy nightclubs, but it was fun while it lasted. Chris.
