Unless things have changed the Syrian army is pretty useless as is their air force. The Israelis kicked their asses twice in the past even though the Syrians had back up from Egypt. :hihi:

The Syran Army however seem to be very efficient at gassing their own

The USA lost in Iraq and Afghanistan so having all the best military hardware and being the big old US of A doesn't mean you always win does it?

Then there was Vietnam...........:hihi::rolleyes:

Hardly a post with any insight behind it is it? The war between the Syrians and the Israelis was a coventional war fought on an open battle field with conventional weapons of war. The Syrians despite their modern Russian tanks and artillery were useless

The Vietnamese adopted tactics that had been first used by American Indians and later by American revoutionary fighters against the British

No front, no rear, no tanks, no planes not even uniforms. Just sneak attacks by night and back to rice paddies by day. The Army weren't prepared or trained to fight a war like that in the 1960s plus a rotten corrupt South Vietnamese government that the peasants hated and could not identify with helped topple the South Vietnamese regime

As for Iraq. Dont make me laugh. Saddam's army wasnt much and easily beaten. US money was poured into Iraq but the US never foresaw that Iraqis were more interested in pursuing their own little tribal wars against each other. If it's a mess today blame the Iraqis. They blew it

Afghanistan is not a country. It's a vast area of high desolate mountains inhabited by warring tribesmen who fought the British Army, the Indian army, the Soviet army.

Karzai may think he's leader of a country but after the last western troops pull out it will all just revert to what it always was

Im interest in this answer too:D

As far as I can tell, they were the biggest winners from these "wars" lol

War is good business and much needed for a superpower. USA and Israel do very well out of it. however the price paid by children killed or shall be say murdered for profit by state of the art modern weapons including chemical WMD has rocketed up in recent invasions.

All planned of course :)

Dumas, “Top British Officials Confessed to Syria War Plans Two Years before Arab Spring”

Christof Lehmann (nsnbc),- The former French Foreign Minister Roland Dumas admits, the war on Syria was planned two years before “The Arab Spring”. Dumas states in a TV interview, that “top British officials” confessed that they were preparing a war on Syria and asked “If I wanted to participate”.

Saddam was supported by the US to launch a war on Iran and his own people to keep him in power. Millions dead including use of chemical weapons. These weapons are supplied by?

There was no al Qaeda in Iraq, there was no suicide bombers in Iraq but thanks to the invasion they run the place now...bombs going off everyday...no concern here

US poured nothing of value into IRAQ. Rich contract picking for US companies but subcontract the work 10 times you get the idea :)

Thanks to nothing. It's all about Sunni Iraqis who lost power when Saddam went making war on Shi'ites who now hold the power with Iran busily stirring things up behind the scenes.

If Saddam hadnt been deposed at that time there would have been one of those so called Arab Springs raging in Iraq right now and it would have made Syria look like a small side show by comparison

Iraq is in the hands of Iraqis now. What they make of it is up to them

Syria is Russia only proxie in the region and have a lot to lose...they will lose major investments in Syria’s armed forces and naval bases.

an attack could also lead Russia to go on a nuclear alert for the first time since end of Cold War.
