WPHCC Posted August 29, 2013 Share Posted August 29, 2013 Help us light the night and raise vital funds for Weston Park Hospital Cancer Charity by taking part in our magical torch-lit night walk on Saturday 28th September and show your support for your local cancer hospital. We are excited to say that for this year's event Olympic Gold Medallist, Jessica Ennis-Hill, will be making a special guest appearance at the walk in her role as Patron of the charity. The ancient woodlands of Ecclesall Woods, Sheffield, are fantastic to explore and even more so at night. On this evening the wood's beauty spots will be lit up and live music will be played, making it a magical experience for all. The 4.5 Km circular route around the woods, starts and ends at the Woodland Discovery Centre, where a celebratory atmosphere will be created with live music. On the night you will receive a FREE torch and we also encourage you to get creative with glow in the dark outfits and accessories so we can light the night together.
