Astraeus
Has anyone here been to Latin/Ballroom dance classes at either of the aforementioned studios? Trying to assess whether to pick one over the other as neither are geographically practical. Any input would be of use - thank you!
Piggyfogar
I can tell you about Drapers, as we have been pupils there for nearly 3 years and we are up to gold standard in Latin and silver in ballroom. The teachers are professional, experienced friendly and encouraging, and we have made a new group of good friends with other pupils in our class. The social scene is fab, they have a social dance every Saturday and Sunday so you can practise, and everyone is so welcoming and friendly. Although it is a bit short notice I know, but the new adult latin ballroom class begins this Tuesday at 7.30, it is usually a 20 week course and costs £13 per couple per lesson. The course covers cha cha, rumba, jive, rock and roll, salsa, samba, waltz foxtrot and quickstep. Phew!!! don't think I have missed anything and hope this helps.
