Is the "Special Relationship" over

Recommended Posts

Should we be proud of our politicians in that they have denied assistance to the people of Syria?

As Milliband lead the opposition to us acting should the Labour party feel guilty the next time we witness atrocities of the kind we have seen recently.?

Milliband didn't lead the opposition to action. His amendment was that a decision on action should only be taken when there was "compelling" evidence of Assad's guilt re chemical weapons. Cameron decided not to back that amendment, for some bizarre reason, and ending up losing his own vote as well.

In view of the decision of the British Parliament not to allow military action regarding Syria, thereby leaving the US to act alone have we ended the so called Special Relationship? If so is it about time?

No but you're desperate to drive a wedge between the UK and the US
