Obelix
Both, I guess, it's neither one or the other. Wrong Mecky. http://www.ukpublicspending.co.uk/spending_chart_2002_2015UKb_13s1li111mcn_F0t There are your spending figures. You can see from that your assertion that the Coalition have spent more than the previous three administrations to be completely false. (I presume you mean between the last three general Elections, as I suspect you are getting confused as to what is meant my an administration) ---------- Post added 05-09-2013 at 12:13 ---------- And I see you dodged the question about the Greggs Shopkeeper which I put to you, since hich the thread has now apparently "disappeared." Did you have anything to do with that? Don't flatter yourself. If the thread was pulled it's probably because someone was being mean about a low paid worker. Does that ring any bells? No, that just says spending is up which we all know, but it doesn't say where the money is spent. And what kind of reputable web site is http://www.ukpublicspending.co.uk anyway? Since all those areas on the pie chart, except maybe General Government, ware being cut, where is all the money going?
Obelix
No, that just says spending is up which we all know, but it doesn't say where the money is spent. Your assertion was that total spending under the current government was more than the last three combined. It doesnt matter where it's going just the total amounts. You can look at the numbers and see your assertion is in complete cloud cuckoo land. I suspect you meant to say that BORROWING was higher, rather than spending. I've just told you which departments had their budget increased so why did you ignore it? Here it is again. Interest payments are UP Expenditure on 'Foreign Aid' is UP Expenditure on NHS is UP Expenditure on Green crap is UP Expenditure on DWP (Welfare) is UP
