Twitcher
It's only bliss until you get bit by one. But the pics are much more scary than the pic I took few years ago: ^^^ So cute. Vile just vile..... ---------- Post added 05-09-2013 at 17:24 ---------- We've had loads of them in my house. I had one squaring up to me last night. Just wouldnt budge. I swear it was the same one i threw out the night before. Last weekend I saw one come in my window & run under my bed. It was huge. Pulled my room apart to find it. It's true they do come back in. ---------- Post added 05-09-2013 at 17:25 ---------- Dreading it when it turns really cold like from tomorrow onwards, they'll be keen to come in! cosywolf
Anyone know if its a particular type of spider? The big ones http://www.wildsheffield.com/what-we-do/wildlife-issues#Huge%20spiders Tegenaria duellica or T. gigantea Known collectively in our house as Boris. They're males on the pull Bad news for arachnaphobes: they live in your house all year long, they're just usually minding their own business. Good news: they eat other spiders and insects, so help keep the numbers of creepy crawlies in your house down.
Vaati
We had a big spider near the loo this morning...I hate the things. Spider is no longer there as mom got it and threw it outside. I think I will not open any pic links in this thread. *pulls yuck face*

Odd how we never see their type at any other time of the year. Maybe they take a year to grow to this size.
