lily may
Just because a road isn't due for work for another year or so doesn't mean that you can't report potholes and the like. My road is due to be worked on this October but they were out last Monday filling in a couple of pot holes which some-one must of reported as they hadn't been marked with yellow paint which is the usual way the workmen usually do thingsif they do a visual check on a road. They come on a regular basis and fill in the pot holes, which last about a week before needing repairing again. Virtually most of the street is yellow lined. It would probably be cheaper to resurface the road now than continue filling in the holes until 2017 when it is due to be done
Neilwalts68
Well maybe I'm too cynical, but when it comes to the unloved East of the city, I'll believe it when I see it. Apparently the roads which are being done first are for the Tour de France
samantha71
Does anyone know if Birley Spa Lane is going to be closed soon as notices about no parking went up last week, yet we had letters saying there would be no work done until 2015

g.schofield
The Bradfield area has also experienced resurfacing works which has vastly improved their cycling quality.

I live near the bottom and haven't seen any notices, though an Amey survey car parked up outside last week and a guy had a look at the hydrants etc - if they're closing the road soon then it must be for footpath resurfacing. Doom
I just had a look at the part of Grenoside where the Tour de France route runs and they're scheduled for 2014, whereas the rest of Grenoside is 2015, so maybe there is some truth in the rumour.
