PAT testing, how much?

Check it has the correct fuse in it, check the cord is not damaged, check that the casing is not damaged.

 

It's hardly a high risk enviroment. Put a notice on it saying dont operate whilst spraying water on it and you are probably good to go. Not everything has to be PAT tested, not everything needs an electrician.

The regulations do not specify what needs to be done, by whom or how frequently (ie they don't make inspection or testing of electrical appliances a legal requirement, nor do they make it a legal requirement to undertake this annually)...

 

Also, there is no legal requirement to label equipment that has been inspected or tested...

 

However, this doesn't mean that individual companies and organisations won't request you provide some sort of certificate of safety (which the sticker basically is, unless it's less than 2 years old (usually))

It has already been said that the equipment must be tested or theres no course.
