sharpend
Odd question - Anyone know anywhere round here with a series of cobbles? I am doing an event which has significant sections of cobblestone roads and I want to "acclimatise" Ideally, I would want a section of cobbles or road/pavement surface that is similar that I could build a lap around. Strange question I know but any ideas?
jemson
Does anyone know anything about the Resolution Run at Rother Valley in January. Very sketchy details on their website. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas about the 12k route that goes on the rougher terrain paths around the park. Just noticed that this race is crossed out on Steel City Striders website calendar. Cancelled? Although still listed on Rother Valley site - ?

Paolo Coopio
Blimey - in the nick of time- the two week old defibrillator at Clumber Park parkrun was used at the weekend. https://www.facebook.com/search/top/?q=clumber%20park%20parkrun A good news story (I hope) for the new defribs. Any idea which local Park runs already have them apart from Clumber and Doncaster?
rvparkrun
A good news story (I hope) for the new defribs. Any idea which local Park runs already have them apart from Clumber and Doncaster? We have access to the defib kept at the watersports centre at Rother Valley Country Park. We have a radio so we can contact the park rangers in the event of an emergency and the AED (defib) can be taken to the party concerned.
