Flanker7
Sheffield & Rotherham parkrun attendances for 8th & 9th April 2017. 83 - Concord 220 - Graves 78 - Graves Juniors 242 - Hillsborough, 55 - Castle 591 - Hallam Total - 1,269 290 - Rother Valley 111 - Clifton Park , 2nd Highest Attendance Total - 401 Overall total = 1,670 Clifton Park & Rother Valley had 400+, for the first time, probably. The town course seem to have a boost of enthusiasm, 100+ again, not that many 'First timers' but loads on 2 & 3 runs. Sheffield numbers held up well in the face of the Sheffield Half on Sunday - volunteer rosta's were packed out early doors. The Sunday run was fantastic spectating but a bit hot for the runners, who saw the Pirate flag?. This is a Sheffield/Nottingham 'double' that appeals to me - https://www.nowca.org/Home/Page/28 ---------- Post added 16-04-2017 at 17:34 ---------- Sheffield & Rotherham parkrun attendances for 15th & 16th April 2017. 99 - Concord 252 - Graves, 5th Highest Attendance 82 - Graves Juniors 301 - Hillsborough, 3rd Highest Attendance 64 - Castle, 10th Highest Attendance tied with 2 other dates. 657 - Hallam Total - 1,455 296 - Rother Valley, 2nd Highest Attendance 83 - Clifton Park Total - 379 Overall total = 1,834 UK parkrun record smashed about 10,000 - https://www.facebook.com/search/top/?q=elliott%20line Edited April 10, 2017 by Flanker7

My closest one is Hillsborough, has anyone on here been to that one, what's the turn out like? Many thanks in advance Turnout's about 200 each week, a real friendly bunch (as always with parkrun) and a nice course - 3 x 1 mile loops. First section is a shallow descent from the kids park to the bottom and them coming back up to near the top of the park, turning right to the library and back to the kids park. No real hills to worry about, and not much traffic.

Flanker7
Flanker is away in Ireland at the mo. Numbers will recommence in June. Portrush was flat but gave me my best time time year.
Paolo Coopio
Flanker is away in Ireland at the mo. Numbers will recommence in June. Portrush was flat but gave me my best time time year. Isn't Portrush on the beach? Can't imagine running on the beach. I'm hoping to take in the Carrickfergus and Westport parkruns later this month when over there
PandaJuggler
Anyone (everyone?) experience an adjustment down the field this week at Sheffield Hallam? My email time no longer matches my website time (now about 10 -12 seconds slower). Edited May 6, 2017 by PandaJuggler
Flanker7
Flanker is back after a delightful visit to the Emerald Isle. Portrush, Oranmore, Bere Island, Father Collins and Comber parkruns were ticked off and everyone was a delight. As usual the smaller the better, for the parkrun community feel, I put Bere Island as the top of the list. A quick glance over the last five Sheff&Roth attendances have shown parkrun going from strength to strength with records tumbling. No surprise that the 2k bench mark has been passed 3 time as follows:- 22nd April = 1864 29th April = 1957 6th May = 2018 13th May = 2081 20th May = 2038 ---------- Post added 28-05-2017 at 20:17 ---------- Sheffield & Rotherham parkrun attendances for 27th & 28th April 2017. 82 - Concord 256 - Graves 103 - Graves Juniors 243 - Hillsborough, 68 - Castle 555 - Hallam Total - 1,307 263 - Rother Valley 84 - Clifton Park Total - 347 Overall total = 1,654 Fascinating facts - Average number of runners per parkrun event. Hillsborough(152.4) has recently overtaken Graves(152.3). If current trends continue Rother Valley (151.4) will soon overtake them both. ---------- Post added 05-06-2017 at 10:21 ---------- Sheffield & Rotherham parkrun attendances for 3rd & 4th June 2017. 100 - Concord 275 - Graves, 4th highest attendance 134 - Graves Juniors 306 - Hillsborough, 4th highest attendance 53 - Castle 656 - Hallam Total - 1,524 277 - Rother Valley, 10th highest attendance 93 - Clifton Park Total - 370 Overall total = 1,
