The only cancellation was Sheffield Hallam. Since the launch of Catterick parkrun on 17 June, there has not been a single week when all 39 parkruns have been run - and there'll be a 40th starting next week! (more..) Flanker7
Sheffield & Rotherham parkrun attendances for 26th & 27th August 2017. 99 - Concord 219 - Graves 88 - Graves Juniors 230 - Hillsborough 59 - Castle 545 - Hallam Total - 1,240 294 - Rother Valley, 8th Hightest attendance. 69 - Clifton Park Total - 363 Overall total = 1,603 Summer holidays are biting into attendances with the exception of Rother Valley which may be considered as a national tourist venue? ;0) I think records are set to tumble when the schools restart and the students return. Roger Sarge, Thanks for the bump. ---------- Post added 04-09-2017 at 15:04 ---------- Sheffield & Rotherham parkrun attendances for 2nd & 3rd September 2017. 85 - Concord 200 - Graves 105 - Graves Juniors 305 - Hillsborough 52 - Castle 661 - Hallam Total - 1,408 294 - Rother Valley. 69 - Clifton Park Total - 353 Overall total = 1,761 3 mentions in Elliot Line's numbers here - http://www.elliottline.com/parkrun/2017/9/3/uk-parkrun-attendance-stats-2nd-september-2017 Two major items worthy of note in the Yorks & Humber region both occurred on 12 Aug: - Rother Valley (365) set a new attendance record - It was the first week all 40 regional parkruns were run on the same day (previous highest had been 38). This week saw runs at 40/40 parkruns in the Yorkshire & Humber region. Total region attendance was 9852; an increase of 737 (8.1%) from last week. This was the highest cumulative attendance since 03-Jun (the last time attendance exceeded 10000). Of the 39 venues that ran both last week and this, 21 had an increase in attendance, 15 saw a decrease and three(Northallerton (90), Rother Valley (294) and Rotherham (69)) were the same. Northallerton has now had an attendance of 90 for three of the last five weeks and four in the last ten; Rotherham has had 69 on three of the last six weeks (and a 68). It was Brighouse's first anniversary. Over the region as a whole, the average Saturday parkrun attendance has increased over the last year by 27% when compared to the previous year (from 6986 to 8842).
