There were 47/52 parkruns in the Yorkshire and The Humber region (cancellations at Bramley, Brighouse, Sheffield Hallam, Storthes Hall and Temple Newsam). Of 44 runs completed both last week and this, eight had higher attendances and 36 were lower. Total attendance was 7761, a decrease of 2914 (27.3%) from the previous week. Graves and Rother Valley both had attendances of 228, Bradford and Harrogate had 209, Humber Bridge, Myrtle and Oakwell Hall all had 123 and Horton Park, Middleton Woods and Northallerton all had 38. This was only the fourth occasion ever for the region that as many as five venues recorded attendances of fewer than 40 on the same date. (First time since 26 Dec 2015.) The average weekly attendance over the last 12 months has increased by 21.4% (8814 to 10705). The mean attendance per parkrun per week over the history of parkrun for the region is 204.8; the median is 165. Of 46 runs completed both last week and this, 44 had higher attendances, one (Concord) was lower and one other (Potternewton (105)) was the same. Total attendance was 13637, an increase 5876 (75.7%) from the previous week.Pontefract and Roundhay both had attendances of 436, Cleethorpes and Doncaster had 264, Catterick and Cliffe Castle had 190 and Goole and Myrtle had 161. It was the first time ever (from 12254 regional parkruns) that a venue (Huddersfield) has had an attendance of 640. The average weekly attendance over the last 12 months has increased by 24.2% (8743 to 10856). Total - 495 Overall total = 2,029 Sorry about the delay. I've been to Market Rasen Racecourse parkrun. It follows the ambulance track around the inside of the race course, lovely crowd and slick operation, recommended. Andrew Burgess-Tupling to parkrun statsgeek group 8 hrs · The end of school hols for some, the middle weekend for others and beginning for others. For the rest of us, just a regulation parkrun day. There were 51/52 parkruns in the Yorkshire and The Humber region (only cancellation at Huddersfield). Of 50 runs completed both last week and this, 27 had higher attendances and 23 were lower. Total attendance was 13236, a decrease of 314 (2.3%) from the previous week. There were record attendances at Brighouse (470) and Rother Valley (426). Brighouse’s previous record attendance was the fifth longest standing for the region (14 Jan 2017) and second longest that wasn’t set at an inaugural (Temple Newsam 1 Jan 2016). Graves & Roundhay both had attendances of 332, Myrtle & Storthes Hall had 187 and Frickley Country & New Earswick had 104. The average weekly attendance over the last 12 months has increased by 27.4% (8709 to 11096). The mean attendance per parkrun per week over the history of parkrun for the region is 205.9; the median is 166.
