Also there rascist crap is increasingly falling on deaf ears as people slowly realize that the immigration hysteria is all founded on half-truths. The racists will never go away. They tend to surge forward in groups like the BNP and the EDL and then retreat to the shadows. There is actually a link between the state of the economy and members of far-right groups. Top of their list in Yorkshire will be holocaust-denier Marlene Guest who will replace fellow anti-Semite Andrew Brons who has slunk off to form an even more irrelevant sect. Your first paragraph's right, and the BNP's moribund; but UKIP is neither racist nor particularly right-wing/authoritarian. But yes- racism is unfortunately never gone for long. But yes- racism is unfortunately never gone for long. I seem to remember UKIP campaigning on little other than Romanians and Bulgarians in the run-up to the May elections.
