The link has a post detailing WWI memorial projects that are being funded; Blinded by War - Wolverhampton (£10,000), Tracing Your Roots back to Gallipoli - Bolton (£9,900), First World War: Brecon Remembers - Brecon (£5,500), Scottish Women's Hospitals WW1 Remembrance - All over Scotland (£8,300), Abbotskerswell Role of Honour Project - Devon (£6,600), Earls Colne War Memorial - Essex (£6,000), Legacies of War, Untold Oxley Stories - West Yorkshire (£8,200), Filmed, Not Forgotten - Yorkshire Film Archive (£52,400), Football and Peace Project - Kent (£32,000), Hermitage Hexham: Morant family collection - Durham (£9,700), Wymondham's Great War - Norfolk (£30,200), Lincolnshire Remembrance - Lincolnshire (£74,000), WW1 Heritage Project - Leicestershire (£17,300),

Now the Last Poppy has Fallen - Essex (£65,000) and others.

Denied funding according to the Daily Telegraph.

 

Lets wait and see what the Lottery Fund has to say before we're outraged.

Thats usually why topics on SF go the way they do.

Too many people too quick to jump the gun before they have all the facts.
