Griffly Posted September 17, 2013 Share Posted September 17, 2013 More fantastical live music this Friday as we welcome: Paradise Square - Formed in 2013, Paradise Square are eager to make an impact on every new audience they encounter both live and with their self-titled EP released 14th September. Fronted by Ash’s engaging vocals, their sound has been described as an enigmatic combination of Evanescence, Paramore and Taylor Swift. The loud dual guitar attack of Chris and James provides a simple but effective wall of sound which complements the powerful rhythm section consisting of Brett on the bass and Theo on drums. The band is currently working on their debut EP which was written in a basement and recorded in a bedroom. It is due for release on 14th September. On the subject of the single “Insatiable”, The Unsigned Guide’s DIY Doctor said that it is “certainly one of the more satisfying submissions he’s received in his surgery yet!” with “a nice build to the track with some really quite infectious hooks that draw you right in”. He finished by saying “it makes a nice change to receive a track that ‘means’ something and is of a high standard structurally and production wise”.
