What does "far right" mean anyway?

Recommended Posts

I don't deny UKIP are on the right, and I agree they are further right than the Tories. I think any suggestion they are anywhere near far right is plain idiocy.

I agree but UKIP is attracting and not vetting a lot of far-right activists who recognise that the BNP, NF et al are finished and want to use UKIP to advance their far-right policies.

A former NF candidate and organiser who is now a UKIP councillor has been outted;

It was Labour Prime Minister Gordon Brown that made that possible.

I think there has been massive systematic abuse of the welfare system decades. Someone who isn't genuinely needy but defrauds the taxpayer isn't vulnerable, they're thieves.

And Osborne hasn't reversed any of it. He's made it easier in fact.

Far right and Far left don't apply any more.

If you look at the BNP policies they are socialists (apart from the racism).

I am far left in terms of social policies but far right for economic policies. so where do I go?

The Conservative Party contains members and supporters who are quite left in terms of social policy and rigidly right wing on the economy.

I know a couple of people that have done just that, one of my neighbours moves round her back garden with ease, but on the front she limps with a stick, very odd unless she's pretending to be disabled.

I expect to receive some abuse from the lefties now, but I won't reciprocate. :)

Not really. All you've demonstrated is that you have a neighbour who is disabled one minute and not the next. Other than that you haven't made a point unless you think your neighbour/s are defrauding the system. That being the case you'll be endorsing their actions, unless you've reported them of course.

:hihi: Disabled whilst on the front and not disabled whilst on the back, that's some disability, I wonder if its called can'twalkonthefrontanitouse. :)

Actually UKIP ban any former members of racist parties such as the bnp, Britain first and EDL from joining. Anyone found to have been a former member of these groups are thrown out and all monies refunded. No other party does this.

Now Labour on the other hand....

Yeah, all that money spent on healthcare yet hundreds of billions if not trillions get spent on means which enable us to slaughter one another..what were you saying about obscene?

It wasn't spent on healthcare, that's the point. It was spent on computer system that doesn't work. 6.4 billion pounds wasted.

Waste is epidemic within the NHS. They overpay for virtually everything. Including breakfast cereal and lightbulbs.

You're missing the point..waste isn't unique within the NHS..the MOD has it's fair share. I would rather pay over the odds for a bowl of cornflakes than a run down sub.
