Boothybabe
It's not their mouths that want muzzling. It's their arses. You must be stroking the wrong end
Chris_Sleeps
You could argue that a 30mph and even car insurance is difficult to police You could. Do we bin those laws too as its too hard? We have a special branch of police for that job though. You want to take police off the streets and allow them to concentrate purely on if a dog is muzzled or not? willman
My advice is, if you are concerned about the safety of yourself or your dog, take pepper spray with you on your walk. Self-defence seems to be a more sensible solution than a blanket law that can't be policed. No better solution - i know several people who walk dogs with a walking stick.Sometimes it is to prevent their dogs (who are on leads). Just remind me how forcing responsible owners to muzzle dogs in public will prevent attacks by strays or even the ever increasing number of "escaped" dogs. bullerboY
I think a lot of people should be muzzled in public hearing what comes out of their mouths .
H Damnation
I'm surprised at the number of dog owners on here who have voted yes! My dog would be miserable and unhappy if she had to wear a muzzle when we went out and as I am solely responsible for her welfare and happiness then I voted no. spilldig
Ban dogs altogether True. Any person has a right to walk anywhere without feeling intimidated and all dogs can be intimidating so all dogs, apart from guide dogs, should be banned from public places, and if that means a ban on all dogs being kept as so called pets, then so be it. Muzzling wouldn't work because no one could police it.

On that note I find humans more intimidating than dogs so all humans should all be banned from going out, let the dogs go for a walk on their own.
