CzechGirl
Sheffield Walking Group 20s & 30s http://www.sheffieldwalkinggroup.org.uk * 2-3 walks every week. * Exciting socials all year round. * Weekends away on a budget to beautiful UK locations. * Over 200 members with new members joining all the time. Come to our new members' evening Where: Henry's Bar, Cambridge Street, S1 4HP When: Tuesday 1st October from 7pm Who is it for: if you're thinking of joining us, or you joined recently, these events are for you! We understand that not all new members are comfortable approaching a big group of strangers, even if they are as friendly as Sheffield Walking Group. For this reason we run a new members' evening which is held the first Tuesday of every month from 7pm to 8pm - you can drop in for a drink and a chat at any point between those times. Elle and Edita are part of the committee who are looking forward to meeting you and introducing you to other new members and telling you how the club works. At 8pm, the monthly pub meet of the existing SWG members starts. You are more than welcome to stay and Elle and Edita will do their best to introduce you to potential friends and keep you having a fantastic time! Any questions or comments? Contact us on: sheffieldwalkinggroup@hotmail.com I love walking, how long are these walks? Walking is good for building strong leg muscles which lead to more powerful kicks for my sport Also it lowers blood pressure and calms the heart rate Sounds interesting. Are a bunch of Kickboxers who wish to add some Ying to their Yang welcome?

CzechGirl
Great to hear that - maybe you can organise a kickboxing social for us in the future . Looking forward to meeting you on one of the walks (or the new members' social) then. Edita

SportsTrophy
I have some lovely walking medals and some small outward bound figures if you want to take a look. I could bring them over at a meeting or the start of a walk some time.
