truman
The sale of Royal Mail should never have happened. What gives this government the right to sell off the family silver until there's nothing left? What gave Labour the right to sell off DERA in 2001? Can we afford the investment needed in Royal Mail to keep it profitable?
Supertramp
Royal mail are terrible. The worst of the courier companies, apart from Yodel.

If it makes a profit then investing to keep it that way would seem like a good deal.

Cyclone
Short termism. ---------- Post added 01-10-2013 at 13:28 ---------- Depends doesn't it.. how long it takes to recoup the investment.. If it's already making a profit then you'd have to look at the ROI on the investment. Unless it was a public service and factors other than profit were taken into account.
