Steads kept my car for two days & didn't even glance at it while refusing me a courtesy car. After the second day I did some internet research & found many cases where they wouldn't uphold the warranty on a clutch at only 10,000 miles. So it seemed I would have no chance at 36,000 hence I made the decision to sort it out to my expense. I contacted the friend of rudds1 and had my car towed to him at 10am on Friday. That bloke worked like a packhorse to complete it for me by 7.30 on Friday night & at a fraction of the cost of my previous quote. I can't thank rudds & his mate Chris enough. Glad you got it sorted, makes you wonder what these garages are playing at my local garage had my car for 5 days and then said the repair was beyond them yet they advertise themselves as diesel specialists.
