Foot in mouth Gove

Durrrrr. The criticisms were aimed at Ralph Miliband who is dead. Ed can't sue on behalf of a dead person.

And to think, MP's had an opportunity to do something about that, but chose not to.

MPs have rejected an attempt to amend the Defamation Bill so as to allow relatives of a dead person to sue over libellous stories about their loved ones.

Do you have any further details or should we drop this one ;)

E.g. can you let us have the details of ayes vs. Noes in the division at committee stage? Broken down by party?

Which party introduced the amendment? ;)
