andyofborg Posted October 4, 2013 Share Posted October 4, 2013 i'm not sure why, but i've been asked by someone to provide them with a character reference. never having done one before, i don't really know what to put in one. does anyone have any suggestions as to the sort of things i should include? i do have one other problem since for various reasons at the minute what i'd write would start something like: "x is an evil creature who should be locked away from normal decent folk" and probably go downhill form there. once i've calmed down a bit, then I think i'd probably like to write something truthful but a bit more positive. "I thank you for asking me to provide a reference for XXX but I regret that due to various reasons I feel unable to accede to such a request."
