Some time ago I removed the siren part of the alarm system from somewhere in the engine compartment, it was well concealed, I found it had got water in it causing it to make strange noises. Now it has dried out I can't remember where it used to fit, I can't even see the wire with the plug on it. I'm guessing under or behind the front bumper maybe as this is where they are on most cars I think or under the bonnet near the headlights.
