A"Walking More" report by the Ramblers and MacMillan Cancer Research suggests 1,000's of lives could be saved if people got off their backsides and did some more walking.

 

Clearly it's not a "One hat fits all" recommendations as some who are disabled may not be capable of walking any distance. There are some who participate in other healthy activity.

 

Others' like the mums who drive their kids to school could clearly walk were the school not too far away.

 

Guys at the week-end who drive down to the corner shop, or mini mart, to get their morning paper when they could easily walk.
