Eater Sundae
I can only remember their being 4 channels That girl was on bbc I can remember when there was 1 channel (just). When ITV arrived, we had a little box, external to the TV, to tune it in.
Ousetunes
I doubt there is a need for a test card these days as TVs tune themselves in and are superior to the old valve sets we had back in the day. I easily recall TV sets with a tuner knob which you turned to find the next channel, way before you could pre-set TV channels. I recall there being three channels and remember the excitement surrounding the new Channel Four in 1982. Three channels but one thing's for sure: Like when pubs used to shut in the afternoon, TV was much, much better with fewer channels.
