me-and-pippo
In the 1965 directory, between Mount View Avenue & Harvey Clough Road, there is only one building listed to the right of the Church. Wiley & Co. Ltd. wine & spirits merchants, 269 Derbyshire Lane.

Kimpton
I went to the Cubs and Scouts at Mount View between '68 and '74. During this time the shop the right (looking from the front) was known locally as Cox's. it was an off licence/general store.

I shall have to see if i can find out more about the company. From the 1965 directory, Wiley & Co. Ltd., registered office, Exchange Brewery, Bridge Street, Sheffield 3. Also at Worksop, offices & bonded stores, Priorswell Road, Worksop. Wiley & Co Ltd, (wine & spirit merchants) go a lot further back than the 1960's

A search of old maps shows it was a building or buildings called albert villas.

sezbetz
Ah yes... having looked again although the writing is accross the land next to where the church stands I suppose it could relate to the buildings on the opposite side. I was looking at the 1877 map on this site, having searched for the church. http://www.old-maps.co.uk/maps.html
