handypandy
I wonder if any of the real old timers on here remember Reys crisps. They had a factory on Effingham Rd where the second hand care spares place is now. The family also owned the Norfolk Arms where the bus terminus was/is? just past Rivelin. I doubt 'health and safety' would be any too pleased with this little film, nevertheless its cute. Link .

gregnig
Remember Reys crisps very well. Worked at Queen's Tower, Park Grange Road between 1957 & 1972. Were always told that Mrs.Reynolds of Reys Crisps lived close to us in the Norfolk Park Area & kept several chimps. She used to hire them out for the PG tips adverts. Chip And Dip
Tudor Crisps. The memorable 1970s ads featured a paper boy, bribed with a ‘canny bag of Tudor’ to brave delivering his papers to a very tall tower block. Not the same when bought over.
