Cyclone Posted October 14, 2013 Share Posted October 14, 2013 Women are exploited in as much as older actresses presumably are relegated to bit parts,once their beauty fades.As I stated earlier many older stars now wear a nappy due to various abnormal acts performed for an insatiable audience. That's not exploitation, it's an industry where physical appearance is a criteria of employment. For a start you have to have the looks and figure, or nobody would pay to see you... There aren't any unattractive people in mainstream porn. Of course there are niche sites for all sorts of odd things, but in the mainstream if you don't look good, you won't work. Men who work in the porn industry get paid peanuts in comparison to women. Number of free sites on web 4. Recession 5 Economics re production in falling revenue. These are the main reasons for its failure. 12% of websites are sex oriented most of them free. A miner extracts coal to heat peoples' homes, a valid and vital service.Would you say an unnatural act performed on a porn actress for the benefit of a slavering audience is providing something of equal worth? Yes! I would! Footballers are forced to retire in their mid to late 30's because their bodies can't take the strain any longer. Is their industry not 100% based on entertainment? They're both selling their bodily labour to an employee, they both suffer physical damage as a result of working in the industry for a length of time. My personal judgement on the worth of what they do isn't important to prove my point, which I think you've understood now, that it's not only porn stars who's bodies are damaged by the industries they work in.
