ARI2000
hi I just found part time job 17 hours ( £6.5 per hour) , do I still go to signing every two weeks ?
cheesemaster
Anything above 16 hour a week you have to sign off
Happ Hazzard
Ring the jobcentre and ask. I imagine you would still be entitled to Housing Benefit if you claim that. And maybe a small amount of JSA, not sure though.

Happ Hazzard
I thought the 16 hour thing had changed now? If you can't claim JSA I think you can claim tax credits.
cheesemaster
I sign on and off depending on my hours as work casual in my job. And get screwed by the job center pretty much all the time, it is 16hr + and you must sign off, even if it's for 1 week as i have had to in the past. geared
Yea flexibility and complex situations aren't exactly something the JSA excel at.
