Shef_Fitness
The start time for this class is now 8.05pm, the session covers the following areas. Safety is all important and its certainly not a free for all type of class. Sessions run every Monday •Throwing techniques, these are taken from Judo (you will be taught to Breakfall). You will be taught to do throws & takedowns using the Gi (Gi = Martial Arts Suit) and No Gi (someone wearing a T-Shirt for example, not wearing a Gi) •Striking techniques (kicks, punches, knee, elbows). These are mainly taken from Karate, however they are also taken from other Martial Arts/Combat Sports. Techniques are performed against the Kickshields or the Punchbags. •Self Defence, some weeks we will run through various self defence techniques you would find in many martial arts or self defence classes. These are fun, varied and interesting •Groundwork, this will cover submission techniques, escapes and other basic groundwork techniques. We will cover how to escape from your back etc....
