harvey19
Have you tried ringing City Road Cemetery as they keep city wide records. Also try the NBI(National Burial Index) at Sheffield Archives where they have a copy on CD. The archive staff will also give you advice on locating the grave. harvey19
Was she originally from Sheffield ? If not she could be buried in her hometown with her parents or other family. Husband and wife are not always buried together. Had she been married before ? I have found people born in Co. Durham who moved as adults to Sheffield where they lived for several years and then moved Blackpool. They died in Blackpool where they had lived for several years but were brought back to Sheffield for burial in a grave shared with relatives.
