gluedtopc
According to today's Star, the Duke of Gloucester recently pulled one of the first pints at the Millowners Arms which is embedded in the Kelham Island Museum. Unsure whether anyone can just pop in for a pint or if its only open for certain times or functions.
DerbyTup
maybe it's only open to Royalty? Probably got the idea of restricted entry from the guy at the ale house on Fraser Road?

I don't think it's just for Royals- the Duke of G re-opened the museum in 2009 after repairs following the Floods, so he has connections with the place. Apparently he couldn't get in the Fraser Road pub because he hasn't got a ticket!

Apparently he couldn't get in the Fraser Road pub because he hasn't got a ticket! quite right too! Imagine if we let Royalty into pubs like the one on Fraser Road. They'd lower the tone of the place and be a bad influence on the neighbourhood. It would only be a matter of time before the locals started pronouncing their "h" 's and coming out with words like "water" instead of "watter" and "barth" instead of "bath". We don't need any of that thank you very much.
