helbco
My Mum worked there on Saturdays for 1 pound a day in the early 60s. She also had access to the wonderful staff benefits they offered then - e.g. hairdressers, discounts etc. She still has her lovely M & S brass badge. My cousin worked for them in the 60's . Sadly she contracted liver cancer . Help her , They couldn't do enough for her . They paid for all the available treatment at the time . There are few companies , if any , that would do that then - and I would suspect none now .
darylslinn
I can think of one company in Sheffield that would still do that.
