sqboss Posted October 21, 2013 Share Posted October 21, 2013 Is there anyone or can anyone recommend someone who can have a look at sub/amp wiring or give me any pointers, I have connected my sub and amp up yet it wont turn on and i get big sparks from the negative as soon as i hook it back up to the battery (not the normal small sparks you get when hooking a battery back on) Amp is a Sub Zero ICE 600w and Sony Xplod Sub Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

mg16 Posted October 21, 2013 Share Posted October 21, 2013 have you checked the polarity? is it the right way round at the amp terminals? if yes then as spooferman says amp is dead and probably has a short internally manifesting itself as sparks once the earth circuit is completed.
