gluedtopc
Toolstation £2.55 Tool station/ Screwfix will probably be cheaper than the big DIY sheds.
geared
but you order from the catalogue, so can't easily match it up with what you brought with you. Unless you are one of 'those people' You can take it to Wickes, or B&Q and rummage through the shelves till you find something that matches exactly. avidcameron
Wherever you go take it with just in case it's imperial and today's ones are metric. Just a thought. It looks too recent to be imperial.

Well, it's open to everyone and some people need advice. It's probably better to avoid early mornings/ late afternoons if you don't know exactly what you need, as it won't be busy with tradespeople who naturally don't want to wait ages for their stuff. geared
You do get the odd lazy builder tho, who'll wander up to the counter with a huge list of generic materials and expect the assistant to look it all up for them. Takes bloody ages as they start quibbling about the price of stuff. Thats why I go to the Rotherham branch, as one guy tried it on there but the assistant cut him off mid flow, pointed at the catalogue and told him to go look it up himself
